Discover or deepen your knowledge of the art of turning and modeling through structured and progressive learning.
- Filming:
During these sessions, you will be guided in acquiring the fundamental gestures allowing the creation of ceramic pieces: choice and preparation of the clay (kneading), centering, mounting and shaping of the material. You will also approach the techniques of turning (finishing) as well as the manufacture and installation of elements such as spouts, handles and lids. Starting from simple shapes (cylinders, open shapes, cones, etc.), you will have the opportunity to create utilitarian or sculptural objects and to experiment with the stages of decoration and glazing.
- Modeling:
You'll learn various shaping methods, such as pinching, coiling, plate work, and stamping. These techniques will allow you to create a wide variety of pieces, whether utilitarian or artistic. You'll also explore multiple decorative possibilities, including neriage, engobing, openwork, enameling, and the application of oxides, to personalize your creations according to your desires.
Let your imagination run wild and fully express your artistic sense through ceramics.
